Dr. Harsha Liyanage is Founder and Principal Consultant at eNovation4D.

Harsha is a well recognized ICT4D sector expert with 15+ years experience in a variety of industries including: wireless, telecentres, start up social enterprises, multi-stakeholder partnerships, donor relations, social impact assessment, project design and economic sustainability.

Harsha is the Founder of Sarvodaya-Fusion, the ICT4D program of Sarvodaya, Sri Lanka. He had been a Visiting Research Fellow to IDRC, Canada (2007 – 2008 Oct), and South Asia Regional Coordinator for GKP (Global Knowledge Partnership) (2006 – 2008). He holds a PhD in Biotechnology (Tissue Culture) from University of Tokyo, Japan, currently reading for an Executive MBA, at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. His long involvement with grassroots sector as Deputy Executive Director (1994/2004) and a honorary Vice President to Sarvodaya had led him to become a consultant for organizations including the UN, IDRC and many other International Development Organizations.

Dr Philip Edge is an Associate Consultant at eNovation4D. Philip spent 25 years working in scholarly publishing, during which he was involved in the early years of developing scholarly information for delivery on the Internet. Since 2002 he has worked both on the management of research information in developing countries, and in the ICT4D sector, addressing the challenges and opportunities of the digital information chain which joins the researcher and the end user.

Paul Schoen is an Associate Consultant at eNovation4D. Paul has spent the last 20 years working as a consultant and advisor to numerous clients worldwide including the UN, the EC and Government in Africa, Asia Eastern Europe and Latin America in economic development. His consultancies have covered a broad range of subject matter areas including natural resources (agriculture, fisheries, livelihoods and livestock). Within the area of economics, he has focused on monitoring and evaluation, studies and project design as well as delivery and management.

Masum Billah is an Associate Consultant at eNovation4D. Masum has 13 years of experience in project management, research and IT solution development for poverty reduction in Asian and African countries. His core expertise cover strategic planning; project design, monitoring & implementation; Mobile and internet based solution development; large scale survey design and implementation, research design and implementation, knowledge management, and research communication. Masum has a bachelor degree in Urban and Rural Planning from Khulna University, Bangladesh and a Master’s Degree in ICTs for Development from the University of Manchester, UK. Sarvodaya-Fusion of Sri Lanka  is our ground partner. As a leading not-for-profit Social Enterprise (arm of the 50 year old national NGO, Sarvodaya), Sarvodaya-Fusion carry out ICT and Mobile 4D projects all across Sri Lanka. It provides a testing laboratory on one hand for eNovation4D to learn from first hand experiences. On the other hand, Sarvodaya-Fusion remains as a window to disseminate charitable spirit of eNovation4D to serve the community.

Additionally, eNovtion4D have the access to and collaborate with over 20 local consultants and subject experts in South Asia, Africa and UK.
